TokenBot provides a powerful webhook system that sends real-time trade notifications to any HTTPS endpoint. Use webhooks to build trade alert bots for Discord, Telegram, or any other platform.

How It Works

  1. Set up a webhook in Settings → Webhooks
  2. Subscribe to trade events (trade.filled, copy.completed, etc.)
  3. Build your bot to receive webhook payloads and format them as alerts
  4. Your community sees trade alerts in real-time

Why Webhooks?

Webhooks give you full control over your trade alerts:

  • Any platform — Discord, Telegram, Slack, email, SMS — anywhere that accepts HTTP
  • Custom formatting — Design alerts exactly how you want them
  • Filtering — Only post the events you care about
  • Multiple destinations — Send to several channels simultaneously
  • Privacy controls — You decide what data to include or hide

When your webhook receives a trade.filled event, you might format it as:

Getting Started

  1. Create a webhook endpoint — Set up a simple server or use a service like Cloudflare Workers
  2. Register it in TokenBot — Settings → Webhooks → Add Endpoint
  3. Subscribe to events — Choose which events trigger notifications
  4. Format and forward — Parse the webhook payload and post to your community

Tips for Community Leaders

  1. Create a dedicated channel for trade alerts (don’t mix with general chat)
  2. Set expectations — remind members that trading involves risk
  3. Include context — add strategy descriptions so followers understand the trades
