Organizations
Organizations are workspaces that contain your exchange accounts, strategies, and team members.
What Is an Organization?
Section titled “What Is an Organization?”An organization is your top-level container in TokenBot. Everything you do — connecting exchanges, creating strategies, managing copiers — happens within an organization.
Think of it like a team workspace. You can have multiple organizations for different purposes (personal trading, a fund, a community).
Roles & Permissions
Section titled “Roles & Permissions”| Role | Permissions |
|---|---|
| Owner | Full access. Manage members, billing, API keys, strategies, and settings. |
| Admin | Manage exchange accounts, strategies, and copiers. Cannot delete the organization. |
| Member | View strategies and trade history. Limited configuration access. |
| Viewer | Read-only access. Can view strategies and trades but cannot make changes. |
Inviting Team Members
Section titled “Inviting Team Members”No self-service path today. The web dashboard was retired when TokenBot moved to a CLI-first model, and this area has no
tokenbotcommand and no SDK namespace yet — it exists only as a server-side GraphQL surface. Contact support to action this until a CLI command ships.
When an invitation is actioned, the invitee receives an email with a role attached. Invitations expire after 7 days and can be resent or revoked.
Multiple Organizations
Section titled “Multiple Organizations”You can belong to multiple organizations and switch between them from the dashboard sidebar. Common setups:
- Personal — your own trading accounts
- Fund — shared with partners or investors
- Community — shared with a trading community
API Keys & Organization Scope
Section titled “API Keys & Organization Scope”REST API keys are scoped to a specific organization. Each key only has access to the resources within that workspace. See API Keys → for details.
