Getting Started

Is TokenBot really free?

Yes. The core trade synchronization service is completely free. You can connect exchanges, sync trades across accounts, and get alerts without paying anything.

We sustain the free service through optional premium features and exchange referral partnerships.

Do I need to download anything?

No. TokenBot is entirely web-based. Just go to app.tokenbot.com and sign up.

Our Discord and Telegram bots don't require downloads either—just add them to your server/group.

How long does setup take?

Most users are fully set up in under 10 minutes:

• Account creation: 2 minutes

• Creating API keys on an exchange: 3-5 minutes

• Connecting your first account: 1 minute

About API Keys

What is an API key?

An API key is like a special password that lets software (like TokenBot) interact with your exchange account. You create them on your exchange and give them to TokenBot.

Is it safe to give TokenBot my API key?

Yes, with one important condition: never enable withdrawal permissions.

TokenBot only needs trade permissions. Without withdrawal permissions, your funds cannot be moved—even if your key were stolen.

Can I use the same API key for other services?

You can, but we don't recommend it. Create a dedicated API key for TokenBot. This makes it easy to revoke access later without affecting other services.

What happens if I delete my API key on the exchange?

TokenBot immediately loses access to that account. Trades won't sync to or from that account anymore. This is the fastest way to disconnect if needed.

Trading & Syncing

How fast do trades copy?

Typically under 1 second. TokenBot uses WebSocket connections to detect trades instantly, then executes copies within milliseconds.

What if my Copier account doesn't have enough balance?

TokenBot skips that account for that trade and sends you an alert. Other Copier accounts still execute normally.

Can I trade on multiple exchanges simultaneously?

Yes! That's the main point of TokenBot. Your Strategy account can be on one exchange, and you can have Copier accounts on multiple different exchanges.

Do partial fills copy?

Yes. If your Strategy account order partially fills, TokenBot copies that partial fill to your Copiers.

What about stop-losses and take-profits?

Supported. If your exchange supports them and you set them on your Strategy account, TokenBot copies them to your Copier accounts.

Bots & Alerts

What's the difference between Discord and Telegram bots?

Functionally they're similar—both post trade alerts and support copy trading. Choose based on where your community already hangs out.

Can alerts go to multiple channels?

Yes. You can configure alerts to post in different channels or groups. Useful if you have different audiences for different strategies.

Why aren't my alerts posting?

Check these common issues:

1. Is the bot in the channel with "Send Messages" permission?

2. Is your TokenBot account connected to the bot?

3. Is your Strategy account active and making trades?

Can community members copy my trades?

Yes, if you enable copy trading buttons on alerts. Members need their own TokenBot account and connected exchange to copy.

Rewards & Referrals

How do I earn $TBOT tokens?

By trading! Every trade you make through TokenBot earns reward points that convert to $TBOT tokens. More volume = more tokens.

What's the referral program?

Share your unique referral link. When someone signs up and trades, you earn 10% of the $TBOT tokens they generate—forever, no cap.

When can I claim my tokens?

Anytime, once you hit the minimum claim amount. Check your dashboard for the current minimum.

Where do $TBOT tokens go?

When you claim, tokens are sent to the Ethereum wallet address you provide. Make sure you control this wallet.

Troubleshooting

Trade didn't copy—what happened?

Common reasons:

• Insufficient balance: Copier account didn't have funds

• API key issue: Key might need regenerating

• Exchange maintenance: Exchange was temporarily unavailable

• Trading pair not available: Copier exchange might not list that pair

Check your dashboard for specific error messages.

API key shows "invalid"

Try these fixes:

1. Regenerate the key on your exchange

2. Make sure all required permissions are enabled

3. Check if the key has IP restrictions that exclude TokenBot

4. Verify you copied the entire key (no extra spaces)

Bot isn't responding

1. Check if the bot is online (green status)

2. Try removing and re-adding the bot

3. Make sure you're using the correct commands

4. Check our status page for outages

Dashboard won't load

1. Clear your browser cache

2. Try a different browser

3. Disable browser extensions temporarily

4. Check if the issue is your internet connection

Account & Security

How do I delete my account?

Go to Settings → Account → Delete Account. This permanently removes all your data, API keys, and trading history.

Can I export my trading history?

Yes. Go to your dashboard and use the export function to download your trade history as CSV.

What if I forget my password?

Use the "Forgot Password" link on the login page. We'll send a reset link to your email.

Is 2FA available?

Yes. We strongly recommend enabling two-factor authentication in your account settings.

How does TokenBot make money?

Where is TokenBot based?

Is TokenBot available in my country?

TokenBot is available worldwide, but some features depend on which exchanges serve your region. If an exchange doesn't operate in your country, you won't be able to connect that exchange.
